Startup Rally aims to break local tech bubbles and build a bridge between startup communities in various cities to help them exchange experiences and learn form one another. Moreover, startups will meet industry leaders to get their advise and investors to pitch to them, meaning they can x9 their chances to get the sought after investment from angels, VCs, and incubators. All of this in 19 days!

In other words, it's a series of pitching and networking events running across 9 European cities with buzzing startup scene - London, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Munich, Zurich and Paris.

Rally Rules

Step 1. Make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • You are 18 years or over
  • Your company is a high-tech startup or growth company in ICT field
  • Your company is registered in Europe
  • You have a working product (at least in beta, supported by numbers)
  • You are able to arrange your own transport and accommodation (drive, fly, swim or walk - up to you; but as you guessed it - preferred more of transportation is your car)
  • You are able to prepare a presentation and pitch in English
  • You're determined to succeed and have fun!

Step 2. Submit your application

  • Think carefully of the pit(ch) stops you'd like to make and whether you can ensure you can be present at the indicated locations on the indicated dates
  • Provided you can ensure your presence, you can apply to as many cities as you want

Step 3. Hear back from us. We'll check you company's profile and ask for more materials:

  • Submit PPT presentation
  • Our team may ask for more information where applicable

Step 4. If shortlisted, you get to pitch in the front of local angel investors and VCs, business leaders, fellow startupers and tech enthusiasts.

At the event

What happens at each pit(ch) stop

  • Opening
  • 6 selected startups pitch to jury panel in two slots with a break in the middle
  • 4 minutes - pitch & 4 minutes - jury Q&A
  • Jury consists of angel investors, VCs, industry leaders
  • After all 6 startups have finished pitching, jury takes 30 minutes break to discuss results and selects a winner
  • Networking during the break
  • Jury gives their feedback to each of the pitching startups
  • Closing & announcement of the winner
  • More networking with food and drinks
